To start the 2020s decade, the Jeep® Brand has made a huge impact on the SUV and pickup truck markets by reintroducing the Gladiator after 32 years. The next year was even more of a leap with the launch of the all-new Grand Cherokee L with third-row seating and the releases of the powerful Wrangler Rubicon 392 and the Wrangler 4xe. A new journey has just begun!
The Gladiator broke new ground in the midsize pickup truck class in 2020 with legendary off-road capability. Featuring an available forward-facing TrailCam Off-Road Camera, the Jeep® Brand’s first-ever Trail Rated® truck made navigating tough terrain easy with helpful gridlines that displayed a path for the front tires to follow.
The Gladiator interior was built to make adventure happen. With precision-crafted details and high-quality materials, it offered comfort that invited drivers to take the scenic route wherever they traveled. Plus, it came equipped with a suite of intuitive technology features, helmed by an advanced Uconnect® system and an available 8.4-inch touchscreen.
Beneath the hood of the Quickest, Most Powerful Wrangler Ever lies a 6.4L HEMI® V8 with 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. And we mean 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds, runs the quarter mile in 13 seconds quick. Catch it if you can.
Experience the next evolution of the Jeep® Brand. 4xe is the first electrified Wrangler built for the future with uncompromising abilities. Its Trail Rated® 4x4 capability is made possible by a sealed waterproof battery pack and electronics that can perform in tough conditions.
Feel the rush of adventure. The 4xe is powered by a 2.0L I4 DOHC direct-injection Turbo PHEV and accelerates from 0-60 mph in just 6 seconds. This plug-in hybrid turbocharged engine sports impressive 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of instant torque for off-road and on-road running. The vehicle also gives you 49 MPGe( Disclosure2) and total driving range of 370 miles( Disclosure3). E-Selec driving modes (Electric, eSave and Hybrid) offer whole new levels of versatility to drivers.
For the first time ever, the Grand Cherokee has three rows of seating. Now, there’s even more room for adventure in the refined interior that can be configured to seat six or seven passengers. The available Summit Reserve trim level features premium hand-wrapped, quilted Palermo leather along with ventilated front and second-row seats. Plus, the second-row “tip and slide” bucket seats and third-row seats offer generous leg room for passengers and ingress/egress exterior side step options.
This 2021 redesign is an eyeful with a new sculpted exterior and tapered roof for aerodynamic performance. The full-size SUV also sports a front silhouette inspired by historic full-size luxury Jeep® Brand vehicles. Expansive sight lines with updated linear design and expansive glass and a full suite of premium LED lighting are new design features that are both adaptive and appealing.
