Every Renegade 4x4 is equipped with the available Selec-Terrain Traction Control System. It allows the driver to tune traction settings according to road conditions. The Auto, Snow, Sand and Mud settings are specifically tailored to ensure optimum traction and fuel-efficient operation. The Trailhawk model gets an additional Rock setting for serious off-road maneuvers.

Jeep Active Drive Low (exclusive to Trailhawk) adds to the Trailhawk model's Trail Rated capability with a 20:1 crawl ratio.

Brakes are automatically applied for a smooth, safe and secure descent. Standard Hill Start Assist helps avoid rollback when taking on steep inclines by applying the brakes, giving you time to transfer your foot to the gas pedal.
